Biography
Jim has been a degreed, Human Resource professional for over
twenty-five years. He has worked for major central Ohio companies such as The Kroger Company, Wendy's International, Ashland Chemical and Schottenstein Stores Corporation.
In addition, he has been a Human Resource instructor at Columbus
State Community College for more than nine years. His Human Resource responsibilities
have taken him to numerous states across the United States as well as countries over seas.
Jim's work environments have included retail, office and clerical,
manufacturing, the service sector, education areas as well as corporate environments. He
also has experience in operations as a member of store management. His theory that
operations and human resources must work in conjunction with each other as true business
partners has proven to be a successful theory.
Additionally, Jim has been a member of the nationally acclaimed
Society for Human Resource Management for over twelve years. He has received his SPHR
certification as a "Senior Professional in Human Resources" from the HR
Certification Institute of the Society.
With the experience in successfully developing wage/salary
structures, incentive plans, negotiating labor contracts, recruiting strategies, employee
policies and handbooks as well as hourly and management training programs, Jim has a
thorough and solid Human Resource background.
